Gonna give it a try on Saturday . . . any suggestions before I fail miserably to attain such a wonderful image as you did?

The suggestions are as follows:
1. take the picture in counterlight
2. buy a lot of balloons, as you have to try many times
3. take a picture before the explosion and then ask the model to hit the balloon at your signal
4. use different tools (knives, needles, scissors) to hit the balloon
5. in some shots ask the model to wear sunglasses

Good luck!

I told you.
Alternatively you have to take a picture before the explosion and then copy and paste the eyes.

lol You just enjoyed saying "I told you"!

I plan on trying again but with some aviator glasses. Too bad the weather is getting colder and I don't have a place indoor to shoot lol
